TALKING WITH ALICE

A small selection of images taken from my series of portraits of Madame Alice De Borgher.
I met Alice a couple of years ago, she lives above my parent in-laws in Porte de-Clingnancourt, Paris.
Alice is 98 and still very much involved with her local community and very passionately politically engaged. Living through World War II and part of the French resistance in Lille - of which she has countless incredible stories to tell, many of which I have documented in short documentary that will eventually sit alongside the photographs.
